Yes, the inspiration for the title of this post definitely came from Sacha Baron Cohen’s new film, Brüno, out July 10th, which I am EXTREMELY excited for. If you’ve seen the preview he is wearing a Dolce & Gabbana belt and there is a guy who questions what D&G is, and then he says, “Dolce & Gabbana, hello?” It’s amazing. 
ANYWAYS. Back to the point of this post. Dolce & Gabbana has seriously amped it up for Fall 09. There are the extreme screen prints of Marilyn Monroe, like on the adorable dress above, with the exaggerated shoulders. There is also surrealism, like a chain necklace with little lipstick charms, as well as boots with beautiful gold ruffles.
